The Center operates under the license of the Ministry of regional development and construction of Ukraine AB 516421.

History of creation

Since 1985, at the Department of theoretical and construction mechanics of the MTI under the guidance of professor S. Blohin a new direction of researches was begun - studying of dynamics and durability of a rolling-stock of railway transport and bridge designs. On the basis of the created group of scientists in 1988 the branch research laboratory of dynamics and durability of bridge designs of the mining-metallurgical enterprises of the South of Ukraine was created. In 2005 the laboratory was transformed into the Center of the dynamics and strength of supporting constructions of artificial structures of mining-metallurgical enterprises.

The main activities of the Centre:

1) technical inspection and assessment of the condition of structural designs of buildings, constructions, engineering networks;

2) determination of parameters and characteristics of materials and designs with use of the modern measuring equipment;

3) development of innovative methods and means of nondestructive tests of the construction designs condition;

4) development and introduction of methodical recommendations about inspection of buildings and constructions of the industrial enterprises, assessment of reliability of construction designs on external signs.
