SCIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL CENTER “THE PROBLEMS OF HIGHLY EFFICIENT USE OF ENERGY POTENTIAL OF THE GEOTECHNICAL SYSTEMS OF UKRAINE”

SEC “The problems of highly efficient use of energy potential of the geotechnical systems of Ukraine” was created on the basis of implementation of the targeted program of the Ministry of Education and Science “Science at Universities”. Its activities are aimed at solving new conceptual foundations of creation:

- systems for extraction and processing of energy raw materials,

- resource-saving systems of transportation, processing, enrichment of mineral raw materials

- modern technologies of conversion mechanical and thermal energy into electrical energy, ways of its storage and accumulation,

- methods for economic assessment, measures on environmental safety and labor protection, etc.

Two projects have been implemented:

- Highly efficient use of energy potential of geotechnical systems of Ukraine: resources, energy saving technologies, ecological safety.

- Integrated generation and utilization of energy in conditions of urban and industrial territories of Ukraine.

The total cost of about 4 million UAH.

Six laboratories of unique equipment have been formed:

- energy efficiency of electromechanical systems;

- radical technologies for production energy raw materials;

- low-potential heat using systems;

- alternative energy sources;

- electric and hybrid vehicles;

- raw material grinding systems.
